Mold Deterrent was designed to inhibit and/or remove the growth of mold in basements or other uninhabited damp areas. This is done through diffusion to remove mold spores from the air.
This product contains eight essential oils known for their properties to reduce mold and mildew.

Our Mold Deterrent diffused using the Essential Air Diffuser, was tested by a microbiology specialist, Aerobiology Labratory Associates and it was proven to eliminate or significantly reduce mold spores.
Our products were tested in two homes in Virginia that were contaminated with mold.
In the basement of Home A, air samples revealed 2,131,732 mold spores per cubic meter. One month later, after using our Mold Deterrent and the Essential Air Diffuser, the samples showed 760 mold spores per cubic meter.
In the attic of Home B, the air sample indicated 4413 per cubic meters on 08/28/2008. On 9/3/08, less than a week later, the total spore count was 270 per cubic meter. (The air quality outside was 635 mold spores per cubic meter.)
